A beautiful moment of conviviality!
July 14th is not simply a celebration that we celebrate every year: at Chez Max, it has become a true tradition. Every year, we have the pleasure of celebrating this date, which is so symbolic of French culture, and, above all, of introducing it to and sharing it with people in the Irish streets. This year, we celebrated Bastille Day on Sunday, July 12th, so that everyone could enjoy the celebrations!
This year had a particularly special feel, as, for the first time since the very first edition, we called upon a large fanfare to accompany the celebrations. And it was a real success! Our customers, including those who were not particularly familiar with French culture, quickly got into the spirit of it. They all came together to dance, sing and celebrate in a particularly festive atmosphere.

We had never seen so much enthusiasm surrounding this event before. The presence of the fanfare really brought an extra energy to the day and made this edition particularly special and memorable. It was a wonderful moment of sharing between our teams, our regular customers and the people discovering the event for the first time.
For the occasion, we kept our usual menu while also offering a special dish: the traditional beef tartare. We also served various sharing platters as well as French tapas, perfect for accompanying the celebrations and sharing a convivial moment around the table.

The decoration also plays an important role in this event. Every year, we bring back some iconic elements with the aim of transporting our customers and offering them a true immersion in the French atmosphere. The restaurant’s façade is adorned with French flags, while our team also takes part in the decoration: our servers exceptionally swap their usual attire for an unmistakable French symbol, the famous beret!

In total, this event brought together nearly 120 people at our establishment, creating a festive, warm and energetic atmosphere. Beyond celebrating July 14th, this day above all allowed us to strengthen our connection with our customers and share a truly French experience with them, in the heart of Ireland.
