There’s something comforting about a weekday at Chez Max. It starts quietly—with soft light, the smell of fresh coffee, and that familiar hum of a place slowly waking up. Then, as the morning unfolds, the pace builds
8:00 AM — A Gentle Start
We open our doors with freshly brewed coffee and warm, buttery croissants ready for whoever strolls in first. Whether you’re heading to work or just easing into the day, there’s always a seat waiting.
✨ And we launched a new breakfast menu—for those who want something heartier, Chez Max style.
9:00 AM — Kitchen in Motion
By now, the kitchen is wide awake. Chopping boards out, pots bubbling, pans clattering… Everything is made from scratch—sauces, stews, marinades—some even started the day before to let flavours really shine. The front-of-house team is setting up, ticking off deliveries, and yes, you might catch a glimpse of Max enjoying his espresso on the terrace.
Deliveries: Our Lifeline
Around mid-morning, the suppliers start arriving:
• Freshpoint with vibrant vegetables
• Upton Foods with 100% Irish meat
• Kishfish for our seafood
• La Rousse, Sysco, and more for artisan and specialty goods
• And yes—the French wine rolls in too, right on time
We couldn’t do what we do without them.
11:00 AM — The Daily Ritual
Before service begins, there’s a moment of calm:
The kitchen calls up the floor team for the plat du jour briefing—what’s cooking, what’s in it, how many plates we’ve got. It’s about more than logistics. It’s about pride, teamwork, and making sure everyone knows the story behind what’s being served.
12:00–3:00 PM — Let the Lunch Begin
As the clock strikes noon, the doors swing open wide.
Regulars wander in—some order the plat du jour before even hearing what it is. That kind of trust? It’s earned, and we treasure it. Our weekday lunch crowd is growing, and we love seeing familiar faces.
2:30 PM – 5:00 PM– Afternoon menu
